Although calendars, todo lists, and meeting invites are readily available, Halftone was challenged with designing a product that can alleviate cognitive load and build better meeting culture.
These meeting tools — calendars, todo lists, and invites — needed to be placed in a neat and tidy bin that identified an overarching ideal. Users sought clarity in meetings in order to understand the essentials of otherwise unlabeled or misunderstood meetings. Matching clarity with a reassuring, simple interface encourages productivity in a way that calms users, consolidates related tasks, and makes the scheduling experience satisfying.
Bella Scena is a product that has three main functions: create and manage meetings as a process, organize todos, and be a calendar. However, the creator of Bella Scena, Amber Christian, conceptualized a product that was functional, beautiful, and could help save companies money and time by changing the way meetings are held.
